Everything was going as Pharoh had hoped it would. His herd was growing well, his daughter was as well. But now something else interrupted Pharoh's peace, hoofbeats and a new smell assulted his nares. He snorted a bit as he turned his balk in the direction from which the sounds were coming. His dark daggers carried him easily across the lands toward the intrusion. The sounds eased his stresses and frayed nerves a little, birdsong, the songs of the waterfall. The steady pounding of his flints on the terra. Pharoh was going to confront the intrusion, no matter what it was.
His dark pools searched as he galloped against the wind toward the sounds. Eventually as he rounded a corner his orbs saw the dark form of another. He snorted and threw his crown into the air as he slightly locked his pillars to haul his balk to a halt. "You be intruding on the Keyholder lands." He said as he laid his auds flat against his crown. He wasn't threatening just uneasy. Was this friend or foe? Keyholder or Hostile. "I be Pharoh, leader of these lands alongside the Keyholder Keys. What be your business here?" Then he was silent as he waited.

x Visionaries scanned across the horizon as the blackened brute made his way across the landscape, following a narrow path into the deep thicket of the unfamiliar lands. Audits pricked forward listening for the slightest sound. The break of a twig, crown jerked in the direction from which it came. Halloween chuckled to himself, Just a wee rabbit. Muzzle lowered toward the earth as the little bunny neared him. The creature slowly crept towards the gigantic beast's nostrils. He let out a puff of air, it streamed onto the tiny thing and it scurried away. Just as he was about to continue his journey he heard loud foot falls. Another equine? Paperthin nostrils quivered as he took a deep breath. Yes, and another stallion at that.. Audits learched back onto his nape as he saw the vagabond round the corner. Vocals of the brute graced his audits. Intruding? I think not! I'm Halloween, also a Keyholder. That be my business here. I hope you don't mind, sirr.. That last word, sirr, held cockiness. Slender splint raised a dagger, he let it fall unto the dirt and a little dust cloud was formed. Halloween let a snort out from deep within his chest cavity.[/ul] word count xx Two hundred and five comments xx Err, definately not my best. Sorry! - speech ; bold- thoughts ; italicize

The piebald stallion snorted a little as the other stallion's lyrics entered his auds. 'I'm Halloween, also a Keyholder. That be my business here. I hope you don't mind, sirr..' Cocky little squirt wasn't he. Pharoh shook his massive crown as he locked gazes with the stallion now dubbed Halloween. Pharoh didn't take easily to other stallions but as times were, he parted his kissers to let his deep lyrics fill the space between them. "Well Halloween of the Keykeepers welcome to Valley of Streams. I sure could use some help from another stallion to aid me in the protection of my herd."
"Pardon my abrupt rudeness earlier Halloween, I just wasn't sure what to make of you at the time." Pharoh said with a smile as he looked back into his herdlands. "Plus, my lead mare is the Keyholder, no doubt you've heard the prophecy?" Pharoh said with a smile as he looked down upon the black stallion before him. "What say you to that Halloween?" He asked as he eased the tension in his auds, allowing them to point toward the black stallion. He didn't seem a threat now. In fact, Pharoh would be pleased to have Halloween help him by being his Beta. But that invitation would come later.

{ Audits flicked forward as the duo stained beau's did. The deep vocals that came from the rather large brute carresed his pricks. You need help, eh? To be honest I was hoping to start my own little band. But as of now, I have no home. No vixen. And no offspring. Nothing. So, what do you say of making a deal, Pharoh? Lyrics poured off his tongue with ease. Pigment absent, other than the few flecks of orange, gazed toward the other. The suns rays fell upon the charcol stained lord as it was begining to set. Pelt gleamed as that of a freshly groomed show horse, but he was anything but that! He had been in the captivity of the two legged, and it was horrid. Though he was only with them for a few short hours.. He did anything and everything he could push that memory as far back in his thinkbox as he possibly could. {{ Of course I have heard of the prophecy. And, your queen is the Keyholder? Wow.. I must meet her! Well, if you don't mind, of course..? A smile crept upon Halloween's features. His mangled tresses were thrown to the wind as a sudden gush past between the two brutes. What do you say of the deal I spoke of earlier? I almost forgot.. A light chuckle escaped from his muzzle..[/ul][/ul] word count {{ two hundred and thirty one comments {{ eh, got a little better. but not much.

The piebald's auds tipped toward the black stallion. "You will meet her. As to your deal, what have you to offer to me?" Pharoh asked with a smile as the breeze slipped between the two of them. "And as to making your own band, when you have yourself a lady, then I will allow you to slip from my own. Oh, your deal right, what was it?" Pharoh asked with a gentle laugh as he looked up into the sapphire sky of twilight. Pharoh had always enjoyed twilight, maybe that's because that was when he was born? Who knew?
Within that twilight sky, Pharoh saw saw a great horned owl. As he curved over his and Halloween's crowns he smiled. When he was often younger, Pharoh had always wanted to fly, he'd told his mother so. She said it was impossible for Pharoh to do. He didn't think it was at the time. He tore his pools from the sky and placed them back on the black stallion before him. Pharoh didn't doubt that Halloween's deal would be a good one. His auds poited toward Halloween as he awaited the reply that he was waiting for.

{{ AND . JUST . LIKE . A . COLD . WIND . BLOWING }} {{ CAN . YOU . FEEL . ME . COMING . FOR . YOU ? }}
» Skull raised toward the darkening horizon as the great horned owl passed over the two vagabonds. Halloween's pools were locked onto the creature, watching it's every move. It soared effortlessly, like it hadn't a care in the world. Oh, what I would do to be like that once again. Without worries, problems..The wind picked up once again thru the landscape. It flooded over Halloween's frame, engulfing him entirely. Lids closed tightly over snow colored pools and crown was again lifted toward the sky. The wind brushed his forelock on either sides of his skull. Crown shook furiously to put it back into place. He had almost forgotten Pharoh was standing in front of him when he opened his pools. Ah yes, you took the words right out of my mouth Pharoh. I was going to make you a deal that went as so; I will help you with your band. Help you gather young faeries and protect them and so on.. But when I found the one I've been searching for, you let me be with her and leave your lands to begin my own.. So, we have ourselves a deal?[/ul] puppet »» Halloween word count »» one hundred and ninety seven comments »» crappy, i know.. muse is low today.
